All new digital content and properties developed by the Division of IT should be built with accessibility compliance in mind. In-house developers are responsible for going through accessibility training and ensuring their work gets an accessibility review from the Director of Digital accessibility before launch.

All internal digital efforts should begin and end with digital accessibility in mind.

The Division of IT is responsible for creating in-house digital assets that comply with WCAG Level AA accessibility guidelines and for resolving any accessibility issues that might be found either before or after launch.

Plan and Code for Accessibility
Every requested project at any level must be developed in accordance with accessibility standards.

Keep the Director of Digital Accessibility Informed of New Projects
New digital undertakings will need an accessibility review from the Director of Digital Accessibility before and after launch.

Get Training
Attend specific developer accessibility training as defined by the Director of Digital Accessibility.

Test Before and After Launch
Test products for accessibility compliance, fixing any issues found.

Work with Director of Digital Accessibility
Respond to accessibility audits and fix identified issues.
