Why you chose to pursue your degree within the ASPH: I chose to pursue a BS in public health at the ASPH because I wanted to understand how to improve the health for people at a population level through things like preventative care, and I knew the ASPH had the resources to help me achieve my academic goals. With this degree, I was able to get exactly the education I had aspired for, which I will use to help me with my future journey of becoming a physician.
Advice for future students: Take the time to appreciate the little things in life. College truly does go by fast and it's important to sit back and realize that what you have in front of you is special and should not be taken for granted. Whether that's a good grade, a fun night out with your friends, or even just meeting someone new, there's always something to be appreciative of. Enjoy each moment as you will wake up one morning, a graduating senior asking yourself, "Where did the time go?"
