Why you chose to pursue your degree within the ASPH: I chose my degree at the Arnold School of Public Health because the atmosphere and people in my journey made it worth it. The Arnold School of Public Health has such a great Exercise Program and full of opportunities that I knew would help me grow closer to my goals. The Arnold School of Public Health is a small community on such a big campus and finding people, like me, that were driven to be a better people and make a difference in the community has driven me thus far and will continue. An Exercise Science degree allowed me to take classes that I was interested in while being prepared for medical school.
Advice for future students: Get involved! There are so many great opportunities and ways to be involved on campus. USC is such a great community and so beautiful that I would recommend taking every opportunity to meet all the great people out there that may lead you to finding a new passion. Connections are so important and everyone is willing to support and help you through your journey. The college experience is full of many ups and downs and don't give up! There is so much that you will learn to endure on the path but at the end it will be worth it!
