  • Microsoft Office 365: Free to all USC faculty, staff, and students. Login into your Office 365 website and install Office 365 client to your computer. https://www.office.com/
  • LibreOffice: An open source alternative to Microsoft Office. https://www.libreoffice.org/

Statistical Programs

  • R: Free software for statistical computing, a great alternative to SAS (Quantitative). https://www.r-project.org/
  • R Studio: Free software for statistical computer, a great alternative to NVivo and SPSS (Qualitative).
  • GNU PSPP: free software for statistical analysis, a great alternative to SPSS.
