Applications for this year's council are now closed. We will start taking applications for next year's council at the end of the current academic year.
The goal of the Council is to provide a formal channel of communication between students and library administration, to assist with organizing the student voice in the libraries, and to facilitate improvement to our collections, services, and spaces. The Council is composed of undergraduate and graduate students representing a variety of academic fields. Council members will learn more about University Libraries and offer ideas and suggestions to help us improve.
Application & Membership
Advisory council members will be asked to meet two times per semester. Participation will be a valuable experience and will contribute to making the libraries a better place for all students. Experience using the libraries is not necessary. All applicants will be contacted in late-September and notified whether selected to serve.
