Moving Image Research Collections

MIRC is among the top film conservation labs and film repositories in the nation. Its' holdings comprise more than 8,000 hours of film and video material.

South Caroliniana Library

The South Caroliniana Library is one of the premier research archives and special collections repositories in the state of South Carolina and the southeastern United States. Its' holdings are essential to the understanding of South Carolina and Southern culture over the last 300 years.

Located in Northeast Columbia near the South Carolina State Archives, the Library Annex provides a solution to the overcrowding of the university's libraries. This state-of-the-art building is designed to house materials of academic value and maintain them in a controlled environment.
