About Me: My family recently moved to South Carolina from Oklahoma and we are really enjoying it here. While I'm new to South Carolina, I have been an Academic Advisor for the past 4 years. I am married and have one child who is in his 2nd year of law school in Washington DC. I love to sit in the quiet and read (or preferably on a beach), take walks with my pupster, binge watch favorite shows, and cook all kinds of things.

Advice to Students: Don’t ignore or deny anything that’s going on – either personally or academically. Problems will often get worse if you don't address them in a timely fashion. Procrastination or perfectionism can lead to a small problem getting much worse. Get help when you need it. Speak to your course instructors, your advisor, a counselor or a friend. There are resources everywhere on campus, don’t be too proud to use them.
