About Me: Originally a North Carolina native, I am proud to call Columbia my home! I taught in a private high school program for two years before teaching English at USC for 4.5 years. My real passion is working with students one-on-one to discover their interests and plan their careers, so I'm thrilled to be advising at the Moore School. Outside of work hours, I can be found reading murder mysteries, watching terrible TV shows, playing video games, and taking walks with my partner and our poodle mix, Frances. I also enjoy baking, singing in the car, and eating Kao Thai takeout. Around town, you can find me wandering through All Good Books in Five Points or staring into a mug at Curiosity Coffee on N. Main.

Advice to Students: Pace yourself in your freshman year! Give yourself time to find your favorite spots on campus, explore experiential learning opportunities, study, and *especially* sleep.
