What to Expect

Businesses and organizations need employees who can write and speak clearly, manage and solve problems and function creatively and effectively in the real world. Your liberal studies degree will prepare you for success in these critical areas through a multidisciplinary program you will design with an experienced advisor.

 

Undergraduate Degree

B B.A. in Liberal Arts

Offered through Palmetto College, the Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies degree requires 120 hours for completion. In addition to general education and elective requirements, students will earn 27 hours in two major options. Students will earn 12 hours in a concentration area different from their majors. All students in this program also must take South Carolina studies, complete an internship or service-learning class and take a senior capstone course.
