Study the concepts, principles and methodologies behind real estate analysis and decision making, and learn about market analysis, real estate finance, property appraisal, investment analysis and portfolio management.

This major is a good fit if you are interested in real estate development or management and want to develop a strong background in finance. You will understand the importance and role of real estate in local and national economies and be able to analyze mortgage contracts from the perspective of the borrower, lender and investor.

What You’ll Study

You'll earn 122 credit hours of coursework for this degree. In addition to the well-rounded Carolina Core and business core, you'll take a range of real estate courses dealing with topics like urban development, investment fundamentals, portfolio management, market analysis and appraisals. You may also pursue the optional business analytics concentration.
