Language and Literacy
Our language and literacy academic areas focus on research-based practices and inquiry learning so that teachers can meet the needs of the state's diverse learners.
As part of our teacher education program, the College of Education offers advanced instruction in language and literacy that can lead to master's and doctoral degrees. The master's program is geared to teaching practitioners while the doctoral program is research-based and prepares students for academia.
