Recent Ph.D alumna Alicia Lamarche (Ph.D, 2020: Advisor: Dr. Matt Ballard) was last week awarded a prestigious NSF Mathematical Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (MSPRF). Dr. Lamarche is currently a Research Assistant Professor at U. Utah. Her project is titled "Rationality and Derived Categories", and her sponsor is Dr. Aaron Bertram, also of U. Utah. The Fellowship is worth $150,000 and will support Dr. Lamarche for the duration of her postdoctoral appointment.
