Important Details

High-School Math Advisers are invited to register the students who will participate in the Annual High School Math Contest, sponsored by USC's Department of Mathematics, Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing, and College of Arts and Sciences.

Registration will close on Friday, January 24, 2025.

Some details don't change from year to year. They are:

• There is no registration fee
• All contestants will take the tests and attend the Awards Ceremony.
• No calculators are allowed during any portion of the contest.
• Overall school results are based on the scores for the Team Tournament and the Written Test.

Each school will need at least 3 student participants in order to be eligible for team awards. Schools with fewer than 3 students will be ineligible for the trophies, but may be combined with other schools to try the Team Round.

 

Schools will more than 12 students should form multiple teams for the Team Round, and the highest score will count. Please elaborate in the "Additional Notes" section.
