"James L. Solomon and the End of Segregation at the University of South Carolina," by Dr. Jesse Kass, appears in the February Issue of the Notices of the American Mathematical Society. James L. Solomon Jr. was a mathematics graduate student and one of the first three African American students to desegregate UofSC in 1963.
The 2nd Annual James L. Solomon Jr. lecture will be in given by Dr. Talitha Washington on April 23.
