Disability Services awarded the 2019 Thumbs Up to Michael Levet.

The Two Thumbs Up Award was established during the 2009-2010 Academic Year by the Disability Services Office to recognize faculty and/or staff who have seized the opportunities to change the perceptions of persons with disabilities; have facilitated the development of skills in leadership of students with disabilities; and have advocated for and encouraged student participation by those with disabilities.

Students with disabilities are given the opportunity annually to nominate faculty/staff whom they feel meet these criteria.  A committee, comprised of faculty/staff, receives the nominations and make the final selection.  The award is presented at the annual Student Leadership Award Ceremony.
