Yolonda is a Columbia native but currently resides in Lexington, SC. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College, Masters of Business Administration from South University and is currently pursuing her PhD in Organizational Human Resources from Walden University. She was recently inducted into the National Society for Leadership and Success in 2018. Yolonda joined the University of South Carolina in October 2013 and has held positions in business management, grants management, and human resources.

Yolonda wears many hats as a SC Notary, Licensed Wedding Officiant, Domestic Violence Advocate, and she serves on the member committee at the Capital City Club here in Columbia, SC. Of the many hats she wears her favorite is mom to her beautiful children Arrington and Ashlyn, as well as her two pups Austin and Ashton. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, binge watching movies, and spending time with family.
