Every stage of the employee lifecycle matters. We want our employees to have a positive experience as they come on board and as they leave. That’s why we’ve implemented a new automated offboarding process for employees in FTE, research grant and time-limited positions who voluntarily separate from the university as of July 1, 2022.
- Completing critical items: This process makes it easier for you to ensure items such as pay, leave payouts (if applicable), and mailing address for W-2’s are updated before your departure, and even offers a way to keep updated about future job opportunities in case you want to come back.
- Sharing feedback: An exit survey is also included in the process and allows you the opportunity to share feedback about your overall experience. The university uses this data to recognize employees who made a positive impact on your time spent here, as well as to address concerns and implement improvements.
Visit the Offboarding section of our website to learn more about the process and access a job aid to walk you through the steps.
