Sign up now to receive your 2019 tax documents electronically
Employees who would like to receive their 2019 tax documents electronically have until January 6, 2020 to submit their consent through the PeopleSoft system. The process is simple and takes only a few minutes to complete.
Two forms, the Form W-2 (wage and withholding statement) and Form 1095-C (health care coverage), will be available through PeopleSoft. Electronic delivery provides the earliest access to these forms and you can view, save, and print them at your convenience. You can elect to receive one or both of these documents electronically.
If you are ready to get started, download the instructions or follow the steps below:
When you sign into the system, you will arrive at a web page that displays five Employee Self Service options (or “tiles”): Payroll, Personal Details, Benefit Details, USC Profile and Talent Profile.
Select the Benefit Details tile and expand the Affordable Care Act dropdown menu.
Click on “Form 1095-C Consent” and read the disclaimer. If you would like to proceed, check the box beside “I consent to receive Form 1095-C electronically”.
Click “Submit”, a dialog box will open that requires the last 4 of your SSN.
You will receive a confirmation email that you have consented to receive the form electronically.
Select the Payroll tile
Click on “W-2/W-2c Consent” and read the disclaimer. If you would like to proceed, check the box beside “I consent to receive W-2 or W-2c forms electronically”.
Click “Submit”, a dialog box will open that requires the last 4 of your SSN.
You will receive a confirmation email that you have consented to receive the form electronically.
Once submitted, your consent remains valid until a Withdrawal of Consent Form is completed in PeopleSoft. This means that the initial consent form will remain in effect for future years unless you wish to change your consent or your employment ends.
Participation is optional. Employees who do not participate in electronic delivery will continue to recieve their paper copy through the mail or intercampus delivery.
