The University of South Carolina is pleased to announce that McLaughlin Young Group (MYgroup) is the new Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider.

The EAP is a university-funded benefit that offers the support and resources you need to address personal or work-related challenges and concerns. It is confidential and free to all benefits-eligible faculty and staff, and their immediate family members. It is also a great resource for HR contacts, supervisors and managers to utilize when addressing employees with personal or work-related situations.

MYgroup is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and can assist with many different types of problems such as stress, workplace difficulties, substance abuse, and family problems.

Representatives from McLaughlin Young Group will be visiting each of the university’s campuses to conduct orientation sessions to introduce their services to the UofSC community. Dates and details will be announced and posted on the Division of Human Resources’ website.

Deer Oaks Participants

If you are currently utilizing EAP services provided by our old vendor, Deer Oaks, (whether voluntarily or through mandatory management referral) you will continue to work with Deer Oaks until those services are completed.
