Responsibilities
With support from Student Affairs, student ambassadors help promote the College of Nursing located at Williams-Brice Building. They serve as an Informal resource to prospective students and their families, while gaining valuable experience in leadership, communication and networking:
- Attend an orientation session.
- Represent the college at the Student Affairs front desk and speak to visitors for (1) two-hour block once a week.
- Attend professional development events on the first Friday of each month (holidays excluded).
- Provide informal tours throughout the Williams-Brice Building.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to the college related to recruitment, orientation and nursing student programming.
Eligibility
The program is available to to BSN students only:
- Upper Division students in good academic standing in the BSN program.
- Lower Division students who have completed BIOL 243, BIOL 243L, BIOL 244, BIOL 244L, CHEM 102, and NURS 112 with a GPA of > 3.500.
