Get involved. College of Nursing students are active on campus and in the health care community. Join a group where you can develop your leadership skills and give back at the local, regional and national level.

Student Nurses Association (SNA)

Their mission as an organization at USC is to “promote professionalism and leadership in nursing while advocating for wellness for all people in the USC community and beyond.” As a contributor to the State and National Student Nurses’ Associations, they participate in initiatives and pursue leadership at the school, state, and national levels every year.


Sigma Theta Tau International - Alpha Xi Chapter

Membership in Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society in Nursing is offered to second semester junior undergraduate students who demonstrate academic excellence in the nursing program, leadership in community service and a potential for scholarly excellence.


Chi Eta Phi

A service organization open to registered nurses and nursing students that strives to better the area of Columbia through service activities, raising awareness of various diseases, participating in charity events and walks, and helping students to become aware of growing health concerns around campus.
