Our Clinical Simulation Center allows for an an immersive teaching modality that replicates clinical scenarios in
realistic practice environments. Through the use of patient simulators, robotics,
and other sophisticated teaching tools, nursing students experience clinical scenarios
that range from common patient cases to low-frequency, high-risk events.
As a graduate student at South Carolina, you’ll have the flexibility to learn on your
own schedule with our online courses. If you are enrolled in an advanced practice specialty program, you may be required
to come to campus at least twice per semester during your clinical rotations.
Our researchers are examining ways to improve our profession locally and globally as we prepare the
next generation of nurse leaders. Our Office of Research helps develop faculty and
Ph.D. students as scientists and scholars and provides specialized expertise to enhance
success. We also provide support for all phases of the sponsored-award life cycle.
