BOLD Career Pathway Program

Better outcomes. Less debt.

This nursing faculty tuition reimbursement program represents a collaboration between the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education (CHE), the South Carolina Student Loan Corporation (SLC), and nursing education stakeholders from across the state to transform the landscape of nursing education through innovation and strategic investment of state government funds.

Key Program Details:

  • The BOLD Career Pathway program reimburses up to $30,000 per academic year, per student, for all graduate level (MSN, DNP, PhD) programs at public colleges and universities. Over a span of three years of study, participants have the opportunity to receive a maximum reimbursement of $90,000.
  • Graduates of the program commit to serving a minimum of two years as nursing faculty in a public nursing education program within South Carolina for each year of financial support received. 
    The BOLD Nursing Faculty Program is built upon Student Loan Corporation’s Better Outcomes, Less Debt program. It is designed to seamlessly integrate application, education, and employment processes.
