Dr. Lorie Donelle was the keynote speaker for the Public Healthy Agency BC, Canada's Public Health and Equity in the Digital Age conference on November 21, 2023 and presented on November 22, 2023. Dr. Donelle's keynote title was, TechE4 Health: Accelerating Innovation (AI) or Advancing Inequity (AI).

Charlotte Burts, BSN Student

Charlotte Burts, mentored by Dr. Pam Wright, was featured in Crosstalk, a student-ran magazine for the undergraduate office of research, for Issue 7.

Charlotte has been selected to receive a $1000 Palmetto Gold Scholarship. She will be honored at the Palmetto Gold gala on Saturday April 27, 2024.

Hannah Hardy, BSN Student

Hannah Hardy was granted the Mini Magellan award in December 2023. Hannah will be conducting a community-based participatory research (CBPR) needs assessment with Dr. Cindy Corbett and Dr. Lorie Donelle. To complete this needs assessment, they will be working with the Humanities Foundation, a non-profit organization that constructs and manages living communities for lesser resourced low-income older adults in Charleston, South Carolina.
