General Information

The new space at 150 Sunset Court, West Columbia, USC will be used primarily for clinical training of the college's third- and fourth-year nursing bachelor’s students as well as master’s program students.

The College of Nursing encourages you to identify and pursue any scholarship opportunities that will help pay for your annual educational expenses.

College of Nursing students are active on campus and in the health care community. Join a group where you can develop your leadership skills and give back at the local, regional and national level.

This anonymous electronic box has been designed to make comments, share ideas, ask questions and provide feedback to the Dean. All submissions to this form are reviewed by the Office of the Dean.

CON Cupboard initiative provides essential everyday items to nursing students in need. These resources support students so they can focus on academics, and this enhances their potential for success.

The Program for Academic Support Services (PASS) program aims to help nursing students thrive, not just survive.

Selected students have the opportunity to serve as ambassadors of the college, where they play a vital role in promoting nursing education at the University of South Carolina.

Undergraduate Students

The Undergraduate Scholarship Application for new and continuing students will be available from December 1, 2024 - April 1, 2025, for the academic year 2025-2026 funding consideration.  Prior scholarship recipients must re-apply to be considered for continued funding.

Progression is competitive, based on progression GPA and interview score. Progression to upper division is limited to a set number of qualified students based on available clinical faculty and clinical placement sites.

Thank you for your interest in applying to the University of South Carolina College of Nursing BSN Upper Division. Currently, the application for the upper division is closed. The application for applying to upper division nursing will open November 7, 2024, 9:00 a.m. and close December 15, 2024, 11:59 p.m.  

Anticipated Start‐Up and Final Semester Out of Pocket Costs.

Graduate Students

The Graduate Scholarship Application for new and continuing students will be available from December 1, 2024 - April 1, 2025, for the academic year 2025-2026 funding consideration.  Prior scholarship recipients must re-apply to be considered for continued funding. 

The BOLD Career Pathway program reimburses up to $30,000 per academic year, per student, for all graduate level (MSN, DNP, PhD) programs at public colleges and universities.
