The Society of Applied and Industrial Mathematics (SIAM) announced its class of 2025 Fellows on Thursday, March 27, 2025. The class of 25 scholars includes Dr. Lili Ju (put web page here), who joined the USC Mathematics faculty in 2004. The SIAM Fellows "were nominated in recognition of their outstanding research and service to the community. SIAM Fellows form a crucial group of individuals helping to advance the fields of applied mathematics, computational science, and data science." Dr. Ju's Fellow citation reads, "Dr. Lili Ju, University of South Carolina, is being recognized for contributions to the development of novel numerical methods for partial differential equations, ocean and ice-sheet modeling, meshing, imaging, and high performance computing."
