Honors Orientation and Course Registration
As an Honors College Student, you have priority registration for Fall 2019 courses over other incoming freshmen. Honors College advising and course registration is conducted by phone for incoming freshmen in early summer. Find out more.
The Honors Peer Mentorship Program is to help incoming freshmen transition into college and connect you with upperclassmen through events and programs. Participating in this program is voluntary and if you choose to do so, you will be assigned to an honors mentorship group. The mentorship group will include two upper-class honors students and small group of freshmen. Your mentor will be responsible for engaging the group in activities and events at USC and for getting to know you in a one-on-one setting as well. Students will be notified after August 15th with their mentor contact information.
This year, we will celebrate 6 years of floating down the Congaree River in an event that is designed to be relaxing and fun! Students who participate in Flotilla sign up for a morning or afternoon trip to kayak down the Congaree River. Transportation is provided by the Honors College. Be on the lookout for sign-ups. Date: TBA
