Mould Thesis Award Nomination Form

Thesis directors are invited to nominate outstanding honors theses for the Dr. William A. Mould Senior Thesis Award. Students completing a thesis during the current academic year are eligible; the award will be presented at May Revocation. 

Nominees for the Mould Award have presented a thesis or project that:

  • Demonstrates research or creative excellence with clear goals, objectives or hypotheses
  • Makes a contribution to the field or has an impact on the intended audience
  • Shows an ability to analyze or synthesize information in a creative or scholarly manner
  • Reflects the student’s motivation and perseverance toward educational goals and knowledge in a chosen field 

Nominators should explain briefly (one page or less) how the thesis exemplifies these qualities and why the student deserves this award. Submissions should also include a draft of the thesis project.

For the 2026-2027 academic year, the nomination form opens on Monday, November 2, 2026. Submissions close on Friday, April 9, 2027.
