This course provides an introduction to the concepts and practices around sport management. The courseuses a distinct approach in addressing the substantive aspects of the sports management profession bypresenting both the theoretical foundations and subsequent applications of these principles. The coursepresents a broad overview of the sport management profession, including sections on the fundamentals ofsport management, human resources management, issues of policy, facility management, marketing, andthe economics and finance of the sport management industry.
