About the Council
Members
Membership includes the associate and assistant deans of the various colleges and schools who have direct responsibility for managing graduate academic programs and the senior vice provost/dean of graduate studies. Consulting offices include, but are not limited to, offices of the Provost, Registrar, Bursar, Payroll and Human Resources.
Meetings
The committee meets four times per year: September, November, February and April.
The Council's Role
- Discuss issues common to graduate education and support of graduate students
- Make recommendations to the dean of the Graduate School
- Respond to proposals for new policies, regulations and programming
