The University of South Carolina Graduate School welcomes and supports all students, regardless of disability.

If you are a student with a disability and would like accommodations, you must register with the Student Disability Resource Center. 

Application Timeline

The Student Disability Resource Center makes decisions on a case-by-case basis. The registration process can take time to complete, so please be sure to register as soon as possible.

 

 

About the Student Disability Resource Center 

The Student Disability Resource Center works with nearly 3,000 students and aids in their professional development by:

  • Facilitating the provision of reasonable accommodations
  • Serving as consultants to students, faculty and staff
  • Educating the greater Carolina Community

 

Recognizing Disabled Students 

The Graduate School complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, through all policies and practices.

A student can only be recognized as having a disability and receive accommodations after registering with the Student Disabilities Resource Center and receiving approval for reasonable accommodations
