Apply for senior awards

The University of South Carolina’s Honors and Awards Commission is accepting applications for Outstanding Senior awards. Students selected for these awards also will be considered for the university’s top undergraduate honors — the President’s Award, Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award and Steven N. Swanger Leadership Award.

Spring COVID-19 testing update

After more than two years of mass testing on campus, beginning in January 2023, the university will discontinue mass testing and modify infectious disease mitigation strategies to treat COVID-19. This decision is based on the wide availability of COVID-19 vaccinations, boosters and home test kits in the community as well as declining demand for on-campus testing.

DoIT reports increase in email phishing attempts

The Division of Information Technology is seeing an increase in phishing email messages, including emails that falsely claim to be from university officials in an attempt to get users to click on links within the message.

Thanksgiving COVID-19 testing schedule

The University has updated their COVID-19 testing schedule for this week. Testing will be available at 1311 Pendleton St. on Monday and Tuesday, but will be closed Wednesday-Friday. 

SEC Network to broadcast from Horseshoe

SEC Network will broadcast live from the historic Horseshoe and film on the University of South Carolina campus this weekend. The main event will be the live broadcast of SEC Nation 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, but there are plenty of chances to show your Gamecock spirit.
