Current Status: The in-person 29th National Conference on Students in Transition will continue as scheduled.

The safety and security of our staff and attendees are of upmost importance as we closely monitor anticipated weather conditions in and around Atlanta, Georgia related to Hurricane Ian. As we prepare to host the 29th National Conference on Students in Transition in person, we will rely upon guidance from local authorities and management at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.

With our conference and continuing education staff already off site in preparation for the conference in Atlanta, please note that our website and social media accounts are the best outlets for any weather-related updates.

Please note: The VIRTUAL Conference will offer access to the recorded Keynote Sessions with Live Q&A and a concentrated offering of live sessions hosted during the Virtual Conference dates. The sessions offered during the Virtual Conference will be determined based on what is received during our Call for Proposals and will not necessarily be identical in number or scope when compared to our in-person conference offerings.

By registering for the in-person conference, you will also have full access to the virtual conference.

*If you are registering as a full-time graduate or undergraduate student, you will be required to upload a letter from your advisor, registrar, or dean as proof of full-time enrollment  when you select that registration category. Those employed full-time and taking college courses are ineligible.

If you are registering as a Chief Academic Officer (CAO), please contact the conference staff at to verify whether you qualify for a fee waiver before selecting that registration category.

CAO fee waivers are non-transferrable, and CAO must be accompanied by two or more full fee-paying employees (students and preconference-only participants do not qualify) from the same institution.
