The National Resource Center for The First-Year Experience and Students in Transition invites you to exhibit with us. Conferences are attended by faculty members, academic deans, campus chief executive officers, student affairs professionals, counselors, learning specialists, first-year program directors, institutional researchers, assessment practitioners, and students from two-year and four-year colleges and universities.

Many participants will be in the process of making immediate decisions about course texts, technology resources, assessment resources, and other materials, and may be unfamiliar with the range of publications, products, and services available.

Only two exhibit spaces are allowed per company/organization. Exhibition space is limited, so early registration is recommended.

Companies/organizations are invited to sponsor special events, regularly scheduled refreshment breaks, and receptions with the conference organizers and other groups. Recognition will be provided in the conference program book and with signage at sponsored events. Sponsorships will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis according to when registration forms are received.

Materials received after the deadline will forfeit space in the conference program booklet, and information will be included in the program supplement.

 

Vendor Information and Guidelines

In order to provide exhibitors a formal setting for networking, the National Resource Center for The First-Year Experience and Students in Transition offers exhibitors the opportunity to make presentations during events.

Presentation proposals will only be accepted from registered exhibitors, and registration does not guarantee that a proposal will be accepted for presentation. Please be aware that the schedule may not allow for more than one presentation per company/organization. 

Proposals for the 26th Students in Transition Conference have closed. Proposals for the 39th Annual Conference on The First-Year Experience can be submitted here.


The National Resource Center for The First-Year Experience and Students in Transition at the University of South Carolina reserves the right to refuse requests for any and all (a) exhibit booth space and (b) advertisement space in the event program book for Center-sponsored events that are not consistent with the Center's mission and goals.

Cancellations requested on or before September 3, 2019 (for the 26th National Conference on Students in Transition) or on or before October 9, 2019 (for the 39th Annual FYE Conference) will have the registration fee refunded less a $100 administrative fee. A written request for refunds is required. Absolutely no refunds will be made after September 3, 2019 (26th National Conference on Students in Transition) or October 9, 2019 (39th Annual FYE Conference).

In order to provide conference attendees with additional information about our exhibitors, we are including descriptions of our exhibitors in the conference program booklet. Please upload a company logo (.pdf or .jpg file format) and a 50-word description/about your company or mission statement for inclusion in the program booklet, on the exhibitor registration form. Please email the information to conference staff at fyeconf@mailbox.sc.edu

The National Resource Center also offers exhibitors the opportunity to advertise in our conference program booklets. By purchasing an ad in the conference program, you place your company or organization's products or services focused on student learning, development, and success in front of conference attendees and all those who will view the program once the attendees return to their campuses. To purchase ad space, complete the ad space section on the Exhibitor Registration form. Materials will not be returned and become the property of the National Resource Center. Conference organizers reserve the right to review and approve ad copy. The deadline for materials is September 4, 2019 for the 26th National Conference on Students in Transition and October 23, 2019 for the 39th Annual Conference on The First-Year Experience.

 

Dimensions

The program book is 8.5” x 11” spiral-bound and produced in black and white only. Ads will be sold in three sizes. See the exhibitor registration form for costs.

Placement of Advertisement (For Annual FYE Conference Only) 

Only one advertisement per company/organization will be printed in the daily listings of sessions in the conference program booklet. All other advertisements will be in a "featured exhibitors" section of the program booklet.
