About Me: I love to laugh and try to find humor in most any situation. I'm very social and enjoy spending time with friends and family. I like to cook, especially Mexican food. I work in my yard in my free time and enjoy watching my plants and vegetables grow and bloom. I take pride in my work and get a lot of satisfaction from a job well done. I love history and learning.

Areas of Expertise: I’m good at organization and really enjoy getting things in order, which helps with my role as Curriculum Coordinator. Curriculum is my specialty, and I am excited about being involved in the curriculum at USC. I’m also really knowledgeable about the Spanish language, as I used to be a Spanish teacher. I’m an expert at making salsa as well.

Advice to Students:  Be a participant in your education. Go to class. Actively participate in class discussion. Get involved in out-of-class activities. Make connections with peers and those in your field. Make informed decisions about the direction you want to go in and then create or take advantage of opportunities to get more experience in that area. You will only get out of your education what you put in.
