Hometown: Elgin, SC

About Me: I grew up in the Columbia area and love to call it my home. After graduate school I started my career in higher ed in Hiroshima, Japan. I have traveled to 9 countries, with the most recent being Iceland where I got married. I am always looking for opportunities to travel the globe and meet new people. I live in Elgin with my Husband, James. We have a dog, two cats, five chickens, and occasionally honey bees. I love cooking, kayaking, and camping. I'm very excited to support students during their college journey!

Advice to Students: Take leaps and get outside of your comfort zone -- study abroad, try international foods, make friends from different states and nations, and hear new ideas. Your world and your mind will grow in amazing ways when you do so!
