Nursing Convocation is by invitation only. All graduating students are required to complete the Convocation RSVP, regardless of the attendance intention. For those who cannot attend in person, the ceremony will be livestreamed on our social media at the start of the event.

Academic Regalia

Convocation is a formal academic event. Graduates will wear academic regalia to participate – cap, gown and tassel for undergraduates or cap, gown, tassel, and hoods for graduate students. Appropriate dress is business casual, in addition to the cap and gown.

Order your regalia in person at the University Bookstore in Russell House OR submit your order online. Please note there is a different gown for the bachelors, master’s, and doctoral graduates. Call the University Bookstore at 803-777-4160 for assistance.
