Five colleges, one purpose
Our colleges are not residence halls or physical structures, but they are communities of students from each class with teams of faculty, staff and students working together to support you in pursuit of your degree. The five USC School of Medicine Greenville colleges include:
- Hinton
- Hunter
- Osler
- Preston
- VonHofe
These learning communities promote social activities, community engagement, fitness, mentoring and so much more.
The college structure
Each School of Medicine Greenville student is assigned to a college that includes students from all medical student classes (M1-M4), giving you the opportunity to learn from the experiences of current students right from the start. Your college team also includes:
- one student leader elected from each class
- two college community mentors
- one student success coach
- one associate dean
- one resident mentor
- two to three career counselors
- and one librarian.
These members also provide advising, coaching and mentoring for each college, and remain with you throughout your four years.
