It is my pleasure to introduce you to the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville, located on the Greenville Memorial Medical Campus of Prisma Health. Through a synergistic partnership between the state's largest university and the state's largest public hospital, the UofSC School of Medicine Greenville, opened the doors in 2012 to welcome our charter class!
The educational experience offered at the UofSC School of Medicine Greenville is truly unique. Students are immersed in the health care delivery system from their first week and are taught by experienced biomedical educators and clinical faculty from Prisma Health using a state-of-the-art integrated curriculum. Our goal is to educate master clinicians imbued with medical knowledge, committed to care of the total patient, competent in technical skills and cognizant of population health principles. Our graduates will be committed to evidence-based, cost-effective, patient-centered care using a professional philosophy which stresses constructive communication and inter-professional, team-based care.
UofSC School of Medicine Greenville develops inquisitive physicians who take responsibility for the health care needs of the diverse communities they serve, while directly engaging the community of Greenville through innovative programs, including Root Cause and Bridges to Excellence. Our graduates are champions of transformation while working with hospital systems to solve the present and future challenges of health care delivery at home in South Carolina and throughout the nation.
The UofSC School of Medicine Greenville, located in one of the most beautiful cities in the Southeast, invites you to explore our M.D. program and come see for yourself the extraordinary offerings of our school and our community.
