Information graphics are an engaging way to convey key data and research results. When creating infographics, you can align the design of graphics with the university's branding.

Many software packages generate charts and graphs that can be further modified to reflect the spirit and visual vernacular of the university brand. Use these guidelines as you create or modify graphics to provide the best possible user experience:

  • Use the university’s color palette and typography as a starting point for any charts and graphs.
  • Select the most appropriate visualization method for your data.
  • Highlight the information your viewer needs to understand.
  • Label your chart or graph appropriately or include a key.
  • Make your infographic accessible or provide an alternate format using UofSC's Guides & Tutorials.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
