Participating in research projects sharpens your critical thinking skills and raises your residency candidacy profile. 

Once you have completed one semester of medical school and are in good academic and professional standing, you may be eligible to work alongside researchers at the School of Medicine Greenville or Prisma Health-Upstate or with affiliated research partners, such as Furman University, Clemson University or the University of South Carolina’s Arnold School of Public Health.

The School of Medicine Greenville champions innovative research, with an emphasis on projects related to improving health care delivery.
