GREENVILLE, S.C. (January 30, 2018)—When Class of 2017 member Tristan Lawson, M.D., was a third-year student at the USC School of Medicine Greenville, he worked with Greenville Health System radiologist Jeffrey Wienke, M.D., on a rare case of juvenile dermatomyositis. The patient originally presented with allergy symptoms, but after a series of tests, an accurate diagnosis was made. The case was then submitted to the American College of Radiology’s Case in Point™ and featured in January’s ACR Bulletin. Congratulations to Dr. Wienke, and to Dr. Lawson, who will begin his radiology residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center later this year. Read the whole article here.
