Benjamin Lamm and Amrita Sarkar in the Stefik group were highlighted on the cover of Journal of Materials Chemistry A for their work using surface functionalization to bring granular stoichiometry control to the atomic layer deposition of multinary oxides.  The results have implications for the fabrication of next-generation solar energy materials that produce hydrogen from water and sunlight.  The work was titled "Surface Functionalized Atomic Layer Deposition of Bismuth Vanadate for Single-Phase Scheelite."
