Membership Profile
The RCCF is composed of full-time USC faculty from a variety of
disciplines who are actively engaged in child/family research and
who have obtained or are pursuing extramural research grant funding
in the child/family area. RCCF faculty at the rank of Associate or
Full Professor either already have obtained extramural research
grant funding related to the child/family area, or show clear
promise and desire for successful grant acquisition. RCCF faculty at
the rank of Assistant Professor have a strong interest in
contributing to, and ultimately submitting, extramural research
grant applications, and have already begun to build a promising
publication record in the child/family area.
Currently, RCCF members are located in several schools and colleges
including Arts and Sciences, Education, Law, Medicine, Nursing, Social Work,
and Public Health. Members have faculty appointments in several
departments including, for example, Criminology & Criminal Justice,
Educational Psychology, Epidemiology & Biostatistics, Family &
Preventive Medicine, Health Promotion, Education & Behavior,
Neuropsychiatry, Pediatrics, and Psychology. Members are also
affiliated with a number of USC centers and institutes, including
the Center for Child & Family Studies, Center for Research in
Nutrition & Health Disparities, the Institute for Families in
Society, the Parenting and Family Research Center, and the Prevention
Research Center.
Full-time faculty who are active child/family researchers and wish
to contribute to the aforementioned mission of the RCCF are welcome
to contact June Headley, Consortium Manager, at 803-777-5452 or
june.headley@sc.edu to request an
Expression of Interest form.
