- It provides a higher level of security than conventional wireless networks.
- Employees and students can use their USC credentials to connect to the eduroam network when they visit other institutions that also use the network at no cost. This is a convenient and secure way to access wireless.
Gaming Systems, Digital Assistants, and Streaming Devices
Gaming systems, streaming devices, and smart TVs must be registered before connecting to WiFi. You can register your smart TV's, game consoles, media players, and more by following the instructions in the registration knowledge article.
Wired Ethernet Connection
Whenever possible, we suggest connecting to wired Ethernet connections on campus. Use high-speed ethernet connections in residence halls, academic buildings, and computer labs. An Ethernet connection provides a more stable, dedicated, faster connection compared to wireless.
