Abstract

Supporting Success for LGBTQ+ Students: Tools for Inclusive Campus Practice is an entry in the National Resource Center's series on Special Student Populations. The volume explores the last decade of research on LGBTQ+ college students with an eye toward understanding their needs and the unique conditions related to their college success. Extensive coverage of terms and definitions provide higher education professionals with a common language for understanding gender and sexual identity. Readers will also find examples of inclusive excellence and questions for guiding higher education practice to promote a more inclusive learning environment on campus: not just for LGBTQ+ students but for all student populations as they move into, through, and out of college.
