Abstract
Using data from the 2015 National Survey on Student Engagement (NSSE), this chapter explores how disabled student veterans are engaged during their final year of college. While general characteristics of student veterans are known, gaining a clear sense of what makes them successful in relation to engagement and involvement is less understood. However, there is even less descriptive information available to identify various behaviors and experiences of student veterans with disabilities. By analyzing the data collected from the NSSE and through individual interviews, the chapter aims to provide information to help understand motivation, drive, and engagement of disabled students with military affiliation.
