Abstract
Moody administered the Motivational Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to 546 first-year students at the University of Hawaii. Analyses of these data as reported by the author suggest that the MSLQ is a valuable instrument for identifying student strengths and weaknesses.
