Abstract

Tokuno and Campbell report the positive impact of the University of Washington's Freshman Interest Group (FIG) Program on retention and scholarship. In addition, the authors relay that the FIG Program at Washington is very successful in building social support and informing students about resources for learning outside the classroom.
