Before registering for classes each semester, you must meet with your assigned Arnold School advisor. 

 

Commonly Asked Questions about Academic Advising in the Arnold School

Faculty and professional staff advise undergraduate students in the Arnold School. All incoming freshmen students are assigned to a first-year professional staff advisor.

You can view your advisor’s information on your registration checklist in Self-Service Carolina or by viewing your degree audit in DegreeWorks.

You can also contact the Arnold School Office of Undergraduate Student Services at 803-777-6136 or consult their online list of advisors.  

Easy! You can schedule an appointment online by logging in to the EAB Navigate system. 

Advisement for the Fall semester typically begins mid-September and lasts through mid-November.

Advisement for the Spring semester typically begins mid-February and lasts through mid-April.


Changing Majors into the Arnold School of Public Health

If you are interested in changing your major to a program of study in the Arnold School from another college/school on campus, use the Change of Major Requirements table to make sure you meet all necessary requirements or schedule an appointment with an Exploratory Advisor. 

If you are currently majoring in a program of study in this school and wish to change to a different major still in this school, see your ASPH academic advisor for next steps.
